Everyone deserves to breathe clean air and drink safe water.

Why We Need This Amendment

Some places in the U.S., like Flint, Michigan, had unsafe water that made people sick. Rivers have been polluted and even caught on fire. This shows we need stronger protection.

The Amendment

Everyone in the U.S. has the right to clean air and clean water. The government must protect these things. Congress can pass laws to enforce this amendment.
